Madonna introduced Confessions II at the Tribeca Festival in New York, giving fans an early look at the visual world around her upcoming album. The short film premiered at the Beacon Theatre and features excerpts from several new songs, including I Feel So Free and Bring Your Love.
During the post-screening conversation, Anderson Cooper moderated a discussion with Madonna about the project, her creative process, and her continued connection to dance music. The film includes appearances from Sabrina Carpenter, Julia Garner, Kate Moss, Lourdes Leon, Debi Mazar, Benedict Cumberbatch, Gwendoline Christie, and Richard E. Grant.
Confessions II connects back to Madonna’s 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor, one of the defining dance-pop projects of her career. The new release appears to revisit that club-driven sound while adding a wider visual story.
Madonna also recently performed in Times Square as part of the album rollout, bringing the project directly to fans in New York. Confessions II is expected to arrive in July.
