Coldplay Hosting Competition To Find Opening Act For Australian Tour

Coldplay is holding a competition to help them find an opening act in Australia.

Local artists can submit an original song and a video of them performing live.

The winner will open for Coldplay when they bring their ‘Music of The Spheres’ tour to Perth on Nov. 18th and 19th.

They’ll also get a $15,000 grant from the Western Australian Government.

Artists have until Sept. 4th to make a submission, with the winner announced Oct. 2nd.

What’s the best opening act you’ve ever seen? Ever see a band as an opener and then later as the headliner?
